Experience Days Update for early July 2010

After a few weeks of relative inactivity over the Father's Day period (offers were launched well in advance then little more happened until the end of June) we now have fairly substantial updates from the main suppliers to tell you about, as well as quite a few new offers.

Newly released offers from Red Letter Days include discounts on their introductory and half-day luxury yacht cruises on a sunseeker powerboat, a 2 for 1 offer on relaxing in a floatation tank, and for the drivers there's 25% off on their rally driving thrill. If you're feeling spookey then they have also taken 10% off a number of different ghost hunting overnight experiences for one or two people.

If you fancy shooting things then they also have a 2 for 1 offer on their extended clay shooting but if the people you want to shoot are your friends then you can splatter them with vibrant colours on a paintballing day for eight which is currently at half price.

Red Letter Days have also released a series of new experience days including both walking and climbing in the Scottish Mountains. Probably not for the feint at heart!

Weanwhile Virgin Experience Days have also released a few new offers, including a new TV Presenting experience day, where you can get some practice in front of the camera in a working TV studio, and a stand up comedian experience where you can find out if you really are the next Jimmy Carr.

Maybe you buy experience days just for yourself but if you are anything like me then in these days of increasing consumerism, it's hard to come up with a gift idea that will really knock someone out, in which case experience days are probably the answer as while physical gifts may come and go, the experience of a lifetime will stay with you forever.
