This week we have a couple of new experience days for you, experience days that we have never seen before which are sure to prove popular, particularly with cooks, photographers and golf fanatics!
Activity Superstore have released what they call the "Hawk Walk" experience days in which you get the opportunity to take a countryside stroll with hawks and experienced hawk handlers, where the hawks follow along with you, flying from tree to glove and back. They recommend bringing a camera and we can imagine that this would be a brilliant opportunity to get some great photographs of hawks doing their thing in an entirely natural environment. Just don't forget to occasionally put the camera down and enjoy the experience of being there! This has been listed on our animals and falconry pages.
There are already plenty of opportunities to buy experience day gifts for golfers but these are mainly chances to spend time with a golfing professional or other ways to improve your game. Activity Superstore have added a new golf experience day which is the British Golf Discovery experience, where you get tickets to play at a variety of nationally and internationally important golf courses up and down the country. An ideal gift for you and your golfing buddy!
Finally for the cooks and chefs out there, you can now learn the art of chocolate desert making and cake decoration at Cake Boy in London, from the celebrated expert patisserie chef Eric Lanlard. Both of these are listed on our Cooking Experience Days page and are available from Red Letter Days.
On the offers and discount front, we note that a number of previously released special offers have now been withdrawn (presumably sold out) but in advance of Father's Day (20th June this year) there are some new offers available as well:
